Peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023 at his retirement residence at the age of 86. Cherished husband of the late Maria Avarino. Loving father of John and his wife Lesa, Joe and his wife Rose and Teresa (Dana). Proud Nonno of Johnathan (Ashley), Steven (Sophie), Jessica (Michael), Ashley (Norman), Elizabeth, Amelie, Vivienne and Great-Nonno of Lily-Rose and Special Nonno of Katie (Kevin), Allison (Jason), Melissa (Colin) and special Great Nonno of Rory. Dear brother of Sebastiano (Stella) Avarino and Dina (Sal) Quartarone. Corrado will be fondly remembered and missed by his Woverleigh Street neighbours.

Visitation will take place at Pine Hills Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough) on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 1-2 p.m., Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Pine Hills Funeral Centre. Entombment to follow.

Our sincerest condolences to the Avarino family. It breaks our hearts that the good Lord took Corrado too soon. Our prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time. He was one of a kind and made us always feel special , loved and respected, and along with Maria welcomed us as part of the family. I will miss our talks and cherish all the laughs and jokes. In a funny way , the Lord needs him to tile something or build a table. I will miss u. DRFGR

How fortunate we have been to know such a kind , happy, and caring man and call him family. So full of life. A hard worker and talented gardener. Always a kind word and smile for family, friends and neighbours. Proud of his family. An incredible caregiver to his most loved Maria. We will cherish our many happy memories of summers at the lake and family holidays spent together. John, Joe and Teresa you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are so very sorry for your loss. You have taken such exceptional care of your dad. Know he is smiling down on you happy to be reunited with your mom and appretiative for all you have done for him
