Constantin Berechet

December 4, 1948 -  October 30, 2017

Constantin “Tica” Berechet, 68, suddenly passed on Monday, October 30th, 2017. Born in Romania, he was a son of the late Marin and Alexandrina (Beldiman) Berechet.

Constantin was the co-founder of an architectural advertising firm for over 30 years. He was an avid sports fan enjoying all sports and took pleasure in having friends over for coffee. Constantin was a very proud father and grandfather; his favourite past-time was fishing.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Yolanda (Smilovici); daughters Arinela, Alexandra, Julia-Anna (Andrew Clair); son Michael; grand-daughters Luminiţa Berechet and Magnolia Clair; brother Stefan Berechet (Stefania); sister Rodica Majid (Saleh); father-in-law Marcel Smilovici (Sylvia, late); and his extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. His family will receive visitors on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre. His service will be at 6 p.m. and the reception will follow from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the same location. Donations in Constantin’s memory may be made to the Sunnybrook Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).
