In memory of

Constance (Connie) McAleese

October 17, 1937 -  October 15, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mom just 2 days shy of her 87th Birthday at Cedarbrook Lodge where she had resided for the last year or so of her life. Mom is now reunited with her husband and soul mate of 56 years Tom. She will be sorely missed by our entire family, her 2 kids Kevin (Cathy), Karen (Brian) grandkids Kaitlyn, Kimberley, Ryan and the newest addition to our family, Great Grandson Henry.
As well her brother Ross (predeceased Bob) and family and many lifelong friends.
In her heyday Connie was a force of nature, could walk into any room and immediately seem as though she knew half the people there. Whether it was Red hatters, Girls club, a Cannata Family Picnic … no matter, Mom loved family first and foremost and just being around other people in general.

Love you Lots, Love you Always. xoxo

My heart goes out to the family. You were all noble and loving in the support and care you gave Mom. She was always so proud of you!
I will miss my dear friend. We spent a lot of amazing, intimate times over the almost 50 years of friendship. Connie has finally joined her lifelong sweetheart,Tom and rests peacefully with Nancy, George and Bob
Til we meet again...Judes

Connie was a person who was always welcoming and friendly, loved to organize get togethers, some of our bus trips and have the girls over for wine and chats. I remember the boxes of Christmas stuff in the garage and how beautiful everything looked inside and out at Christmas. She was a force to be reckoned with for sure.

Westley Cannata (Aunt)

In loving memory of Aunt Connie, whose warmth and joy touched all our lives. She had an incredible love for her family and cherished every moment spent together. Her laughter filled the room during our holiday gatherings, especially at Christmas, when her home was a hub of love and celebration.

Aunt Connie had a passion for travel, always seeking new adventures and experiences, and she found great happiness at the beach, where the waves and sunshine reflected her vibrant spirit. She also had a playful side—her competitive nature shone through during our card games, where she had a knack for bending the rules with a wink and a smile!

As we remember her, let’s hold onto the joyful memories and the love she shared. Aunt Connie will always be in our hearts.

With love,
Westley Cannata

Connie was truly the light of the family. She was always smiling and I stil can hear that incredible laugh. She always sported a golden brown tan. She was beautiful inside at out.
Although today will be a very tough day let the beautiful memories of your mom get you through it. She will now guide you from heaven. Lots of love ❤️
