In memory of

Colin Needham

July 13, 1927 -  April 7, 2019

On Sunday, Colin passed away peacefully at the age of 91. He will be fondly remembered in the hearts of his son Peter (Margaret), his step-daughters Debra (Bill), Barbara (Jeff), Cindy and his brother John (Pam).

His memory will live on forever in the hearts and lives of his very close relatives Rita, Beverly, Jennifer, and Carolyn, as well as many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will also be greatly missed by a large extended family he leaves behind in Canada, the United States, and Bermuda. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Dora Needham, and his brothers, Eric, Peter, Alan, and sister Eileen.

Born in Yorkshire, England, he left home to join the British Navy at the age of 16. He married his first love Marjorie (Lister) in 1948 and emigrated to Toronto in 1952. His beloved wife Marjorie died 6 years later in 1958. He was married to Sheila (Kelly) from 1962 until 1968. In 1973 he married his soul mate Peggy (Rowntree), who gave him unconditional love and support during their 44 year marriage.

Colin spent most of his career in a variety of commercial art positions, but his true passions were photography, oil painting and watercolors. He was a kind soul who would put a smile on everyone's face with his jokes and spontaneous bursts of song. He exercised regularly as fitness was an integral part of his life.
