Claude was and always will be my favourite Uncle. I will miss that crazy french accent of his and that smile that he always shared with everyone. He loved life and music and playing eucher and most of all, he loved family. Even tho' he went thru life with a hearing problem one thing is for sure. Whatever he couldn't hear he would make up for it thru his eyes and that big big loving heart of his would seem to say, " I don't know what you said, but I love you anyway" Lord please take care of him, till we meet again.

Dear Denise, Mom and family,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the passing away of your beloved papa who made his visit many years ago to the Legal Branch unforgettable by his cheerful and gracious manner, making all the co-op workers giggle like little school kids with his jokes! Needless to say fathers are very special and I know you loved your papa dearly, recalling funny anecdotes from your life and having us in stitches. This is an extremely difficult and sad time for you, your mom, sisters and all the family. I know he was a special grandpa to Natalie and a great father in.law. Please be strong at this time and be strong for your mom because she needs you to comfort her. Your dad leaves behind a wonderful legacy - think of all the good times you have had together and cherish these memories. Please keep the faith. God bless your dad's soul as He Guides him Home to the other side. Much love and sympathy, Tajinder Sehmi

To Noƫlla, Denise, Natalie and family:

There are no words to express how saddened I was to hear of Claude's passing. Many times I'd had the pleasure of being with you all, the St. Pierre family, and was always touched by the close relationship he had with his wife and children. He was such a warm and funny man and so very likeable. My husband, Steve, joins me in offering our sincerest condolences in your loss.

One night I was having a good discussion with him and his brother Ti-Ti. As the night went on,Ti-Ti and I decided to play with him a little bit. We started raising our voices throughout the discussion. He would then adjust his hearing aid and would turn the volume down. Once the volume was lowered and adjust, Ti-Ti and I would lower our voices , forcing him to adjust and turn up the volume of his aid again. It took him a good 15 minutes to clue in or figure out what was happening. I can tell you at that time that he was not happy, but always end up with a great smile on his face...... he was a great joker himself. Great time with a great man.

I was walking down the sidewalk in Toronto one day with a few more peoples with us and he was following me not far behind. As we were walking I started dropping pennies on the ground, without him noticing. I knew how tight he was. He had a bad back at the time, but he was able to find the strength to bend over and pick up those pennies. After picking up 12 of them, he finally realized what was happening. I had been dropping the pennies the whole time. He reacted and said : And I quote, I will beat the shit out of you, mon tit christ de COWBOY ! Ha Ha Ha..........

Last year Claude and Noella decided to plant a new tree on their front lawn.
When I came home from work, there was Claude sitting in his driveway, in his lawn chair, watching the tree grow.
He waved me over shouting, "come here, come here".
He wanted to make sure the tree was planted straight.

During one winter time, after it had snowed. I helped Claude shovel. He told me he would give me a quarter. Bill who lives beside Claude, gave me a lobster!

In the spring, nobody on our block would cut their grass until Claude cut his first, Then we knew it was time.
