In Loving Memory of Chung Sum Leung

Chung Sum Leung, 75, passed away on January 10, 2024. He departed peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, after a lengthy battle with Lymphoma.

Born on October 24,1948, Chung Sum lived a life filled with excitement and warmth. Known for his infectious humor, culinary mastery, and unwavering determination, he illuminated all those he encountered with laughter and satisfied stomachs. He forged a successful career as a chef, dedicating himself to mastering any recipes he’s come across online.

The loss of Chung Sum leaves a void that can never be filled, but his spirit will live on in the countless memories shared with those who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his wife, Patricia, daughter, Allison, in-laws, and many other family members who will carry forward his memories and stories.

A celebration of Chung Sum's life will take place on Sunday, January 21, at 9:00 a.m. at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill, ON, L4S 1M9. All who wish to pay their respects before his cremation are invited to attend.

In these moments of grief, let us remember Chung Sum not with sorrow, but with the happiness he brought into our lives. As he joins his parents in their eternal home, may his indomitable spirit be eternally remembered.
