Chu Wah Chan

Chu Wah Chan, 77, or Richmond Hill, passed away peacefully on January 12th 2025. He was born on January 2, 1948 in Hong Kong, China. Chu Wah was an esteemed engineer holding a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Computer Science Engineering, who had successfully retired from consulting after Y2K. He was passionate about stock market algorithms, travel and being a treasured Ye-Ye.

Chu Wah was survived by his wife, Sabrina; son, Bowen and daughter-in-law, Lina; grandchildren, Charlotte and Noah; sisters Kit Chu, Kit Mui and Kit Mei; and many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Chu Wah to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the Heart & Stroke Foundation to advance research for improving dementia and stroke outcomes.

Chu Wah had been a very hard working student during his high school days, though studious, he was helpful to fellow classmates with no reservations.
I just had lunch with him on July 7,2024 in Toronto after a long absence to meet .
My deepest condolences to his family
