In memory of

Christopher Perez Trias

October 15, 1970 -  August 30, 2021

Christopher Perez Trias, age 50, passed away on August 30th 2021 at the Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, ON. He was born on October 15th 1970 in Paranaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Christopher is survived by his three adored sons Emmanuel Marlo, Christopher Robert, and Ernesto (Nestor) Trias; beloved and selfless mother, Rosario Perez; loving siblings, Ernesto Harvey Trias and Rachel Perez. Christopher had an enormous extended family, along with an even larger group of dedicated friends.

Christopher immigrated to Canada from the Philippines in 1973 at the young age of 2. He dedicated nearly half his life to the Ontario Court of Justice. He was the most outgoing and caring soul with a smile that could light up every room. His soul, humour, and infectious smile made him the life of the party that both friends and family felt so close to. He was someone that many could count on without hesitation, regardless if he was a life long friend or a familiar face.

Christopher will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. His memories, infectious smile, and constant joy will forever live in our hearts.

The family of Christopher Perez Trias invite those who have been impacted by his life to attend the viewing at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Center located on 625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON, on September 9th 2021 from 4pm - 8pm, to grieve, reminisce, support each other and of course socialize as Christopher would have wanted

Looking at pictures of Chris, he always had this exuberance about him. As a young father with three boys, he had this boyish charm that made him the kind of hands-on father that would get down and play with his boys. Chris was our cousin by marriage and we were very close early on. He was the second photographer at our wedding in 2002, and he captured the many unexpected moments during the day. He took great joy in helping out and we'll always cherish his efforts. Though life later took us different directions, we loved him and his beautiful family just the same. His warmth, personality, and the legacy he left behind in his boys is what we'll take away from his untimely passing. Sending our love and support to those who share in this loss. ❤️
