In memory of

Christopher Derek Vogan

March 10, 1976 -  June 21, 2022

After almost 3 years on his journey to fight cancer, Christopher passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends. He accepted all treatment options available to him, was brave to face them, and showed strength and determination to fight. It’s time for him to rest now.

Beloved son to Joan (McGuire) and Derek Vogan (predeceased by Derek). Loved brother to Jennifer (Chris, Declan and Ronan Knapp) and Jeannine (Scott, Ciara and Caela Clifton). A special bond full of love and laughter with his nieces, nephews and friends. Always encircled by the Vogan and McGuire family.

Christopher will be greatly missed by a group of friends that are family. A crew that showed unbelievable strength, support and laughter. His sense of humour was core to him and continued to the end.

Christopher loved adventure, animals, cars, his motorcycle and his friends and family.

You will be missed. Ride away.

Cheers.

You'll be missed on and off the field (#44) my friend. Thank you for all the good memories that will continue on forever. The strength and courage you showed these past couple years is beyond my comprehension. Thank you, you'll be missed but not forgotten.

My condolences to the entire Vogan family and friends on your loss. I know he put up a valiant fight - yet another example of the Vogan strength. Sending you love and strength.

My heart goes out to the Vogan family as you mourn the loss of Chris. To see him off, I will be celebrating his life with a Guinness toast later this evening. I am truly sorry for your loss.
