Christina Wootton

Christina Louise Wootton
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Christina Louise Wootton, age 44, on June 5th, 2019 of an aneurysm at William Osler Hospital, Brampton. Beloved daughter of Edmund and Wanda Wootton, cherished sister of Katrine (Ochitwa) Dukic (Michael Bailey) and Juanita (Jason) Wootton-Radko.
A devoted library staffer, Christina worked in the Brampton Library system for fifteen years in many roles, including Library Technician, Acquisitions & Processing Assistant. Lively and funny, Christina loved the arts and expressing herself creatively, especially through music. She was a lifelong animal lover and owned several rescue animals over the years. Family, friends, and others whose lives Christina touched are invited to the Celebration of Life on Monday, June 17 at 1:00 PM to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The ILC Foundation for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome.

Christina you will always be in my heart, we shared some good laughs at work and it was nice getting to know you. You spoke of your family with such love and understanding, that showed what a good person you were. I know that you are in a good place watching over us.

Shared many a lovely moment with Christina. Also shared her favourite Indian sweet called 'Jalebi'. You were a lovely person Christina and we will miss you and your smile.

Christina, you will be missed. You always lit up a room and your enthusiasm at Staff Day was infectious. I thoroughly enjoyed all the times that I was fortunate enough to work with you. Rest in Peace. My thoughts are with her lovely family at this tragic time.
