On Monday, January 24th, 2022 Dorothy Christie (Aubrey) peacefully passed away at Cummer Lodge in North York, with her daughter Lila at her side.

Dorothy is rejoicing to be with her Lord, along with being reunited with her husband Donald, and her many family and friends that she has missed.
She was a loving mother to Lila (Kirk) and a very proud grandmother of Timothy and Steven.

She will be dearly missed by her brother Rae Aubrey (Kathy), cousins Heather Volk (Paul) and Bruce Morrison (Mary) and her lifetime friends, Doreen Ledrew and Mary Massey. Dorothy also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who she loved deeply.

Dorothy will be fondly remembered for her love and care of family, enjoyment of dancing, visits over tea with family and friends, her compassion for dogs and cats and her ability to find humour and light in life events.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a local animal rescue group would be greatly appreciated.

The family would like to thank the staff of Cummer Lodge, 4th Floor North for all their amazing care of Dorothy.
