In memory of

Chris John Bouris

May 11, 1961 -  September 3, 2017

Peacefully slipped away from us at Aventura Hospital Florida. Our precious Chris was 56 years old. Dear son of his late parents John and Efstratia. Devoted husband to Katherine (Karkoulis), 3 days short of our 30th wedding anniversary. Proud and tireless father to Yianni (John) Onoufrios, Panayiotis and Gregory. Chris will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sister Litsa and brother in law Panos, parents in law Peter and Maria, sister in law Anastasia and brother in law Eric and all of his many family members and friends.

Chris had a big heart and even bigger personality. He loved unconditionally. His humor, kindness and generosity had no bounds. He cared for everyone, and took the time to speak to strangers. Above all, he loved God with all his heart and placed his faith in our good Lord's hands.

We would like to extend our most sincere humble gratitude to all our family, friends and neighbours who have rallied behind us and supported us during this most difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honour of Chris to the Bouris Family Education Fund (please contact the funeral home for further details: 416-485-5572) or to North York General Hospital Foundation.

Dearest Chris, God's plan for you was not ours - We've lost our ROCK, but are comforted knowing that you are happy.

Thanks for the rainbows - your reminder of God's promise to all of us.

I was so saddened to hear about Chris' sudden passing. He was such a wonderful person and a faithful servant of our Lord. He was my Sunday School teacher when I was a teenager and he helped so many of us find comfort and faith in the church during a difficult age. He shared with us the joyous story of how he had a dream where a Saint told him he would have a son and we all celebrated with the good news of the birth of his first child, and the fact that Chris honored that Saint by naming his child after him. He will be greatly missed by everyone at All Saints church and we pray that God comfort his grieving family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all,
Annie Slater and family
