Gideon Cho, 82, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, at Credit Valley Hospital.

Born on November 14, 1942, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaya, Gideon immigrated to Canada in 2007, where he spent his retirement years. He attended a Seventh-day Adventist-run primary school, which helped shape his early values and lifelong faith. In his twenties, he served in the ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church as a general clerk in Malaysia and was a dedicated mentor in the Pathfinder youth programs during the 1960s.

Gideon married in 1970. He cared deeply about his children’s education, always encouraging them to pursue their goals. He is survived by his wife, Swee Ying; his children, Jimmy and Jennifer; and his son-in-law, Patrick.

He will be missed dearly.
