Chi Wang Wong

February 12, 1922 - December 29, 2019

黃志宏 Chi Wang Wong, 97, returned to his heavenly home on December 29, 2019. He lived a fulfilling long life as an amazing husband to his wife Cho Har, a loving father to his daughter Anne, his son Felix (Paggie), a wonderful grandfather to his granddaughters Janette and Jessie, and a friend to many.

Chi Wang’s legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with. Please join us in celebrating his life on Saturday January 11, 2020, between 10 am - 12 pm at Elgin Mills Cemetery with a reception to follow at Congee Queen at 230 Commerce Valley Dr E #1, Thornhill, ON L3T 7Y3.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.

Chi Wang Wong is an uncle that everyone loves to have. He is kind, generous, humourous and genuine. Though he is no longer with us, he will be in my heart and in everyone else's hearts forever.

黃志宏先生是先父的八弟，亦即是我的八叔。八叔隨家人移民多倫多之後，本來我們很少來往，但由於女兒多年前在多倫多留學，寄住同學家，剛剛就是住在八叔一家的對面。因此，過去數年，我多次到多倫多探訪女兒時，曾探訪八叔，並曾經小住在他們家。

近年與八叔多次見面（包括他來港探親的時候），八叔給我的印象十分親切，他是一個好丈夫、好兄弟、好父親、好爺爺 ..... 他為人風趣幽默，又重親情。爸爸未過身之前，八叔經常打長途電話給爸爸聊天，又曾經寫詩並把詩裝表在相架裏送給爸爸，可見八叔甚有心思和文采！

不但如此，我在多倫多探訪八叔一家時，還發現小桌上的相架內裝了一首詩，原來是八叔寫給八嬸的情詩，他是多浪漫的好丈夫啊！

我亦感受到八叔對子女及孫女們愛護有加。每次當我探望他們時，都感受到他們一家溫馨和諧相處的氣氛！

八叔的一生已經完滿落幕，祝願他一路好走！
