In memory of

Chi-Cuong Truong

March 8, 1971 -  February 4, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved, Chi Cuong Truong on February 4th, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was a beloved son to Mai and Moc Truong, cherished brother to five siblings, fun-loving uncle, and a loyal friend to all who knew him. Above all, he was a devoted father and best friend to his son, Brendan Truong, who survives him and carries forward his father’s legacy of kindness and resilience.

As the oldest son and third born of six children, Chi Cuong was no stranger to a full and vibrant life. He loved spending time with his friends and family, whether it was sharing a cold beer, catching the biggest fish at the cottage, or watching sports with the boys.
Chi Cuong was known for his sense of humor, and strength. This strength carried him through all of life’s challenges. After all, he was a huge Toronto Maple Leafs fan!

Chi Cuong touched countless lives with his patience, sense of humor and generosity, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and honor his memory.

Dear Chi Chong was one of the bravest people I ever knew. I can still picture him as he arrived with his family at the Fredericton airport 45 years ago to begin their lives in Canada. He was kind, loyal and mischievous. Later he showed us all how to fight challenges and how to be an incredible loving dad to his wonderful son Brendan. My thoughts and love to you Moc and Mai and to all his amazing family. You continue to inspire me and we will see you in March. I love you.
