In memory of

Charles "Chuck" Hewitt

January 19, 1931 -  March 19, 2017

Charles “Chuck” Hewitt
Peacefully passed away in his 87th year, loving husband to Joyce, devoted father to Donna (Bob), Dianne (Bill) and Randy (Jody). Special Poppa to his grandchildren and his great-grand daughter. Best friend of Jack Doughty of Thunder Bay and the late Don Adamson. Chuck will be missed by his many friends and extended family. Chuck will be remembered as a master craftsman who took pride in perfection.
In keeping with his wishes, at this time no service will be held.

Miss Me, But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
and the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little - but not for long
And not with you head bowed low
Remember the love that we once shared
Miss me - But let me go
For this journey we must take
And each must go alone
It's all part of the master's plan
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart
Go to the friends we know
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds
Miss me - but let me go.

Deepest sympathy to you Joyce and your family. Chuck will never be forgotten for his willingness to do maintenance work whenever required in the church, and for his diligence in faithfully erecting the signs he especially made, for our yard sales and bazaar each year. May the peace of God comfort you at this sad time.
