With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Vasilia (Celia) Papadakos at her home on June 12, 2025, at the age of 85.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 66 years, John, her cherished children George (Mada), Maria and Orthoula, beloved grandchildren John, Celia, Johnny and Loukia. She will be re-united with her son-in-law Philip and grandson Nicholas.

Celia was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was known for her warm smile, kind nature and deep faith. Her life was a reflection of grace, strength and love. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation will be held at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by a chapel service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Interment will take place at 3:00 p.m., followed by a reception to celebrate Celiaโ€™s life from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Celiaโ€™s memory.
