To the Lo family,
Miss Ho was a great teacher. Though she has gone to be with the Lord, her fond memories linger on in my heart. It seemed it was not long ago that we students had lunch at her HK residence. Also my visit to her at your Mississauga residence was only yesterday. I miss Miss Ho. May she rest in peace. May Miss Ho’s legacies bring you comfort and strength. With Special Thoughts

Ms. Ho was a good teacher.

She was knowledgable in Chinese and Chinese History and was very patient and kind to students. She once took us to the old cementery in Aberdeen in search of the grave of 蔡元培先生, former Headmaster of the renowned Peking University (北京大學) during 五四運動 period in China, when a few of us expressed our interest in 蔡先生. She even treated us to lunch afterwards at a very good Shanghai restaurant called 三六九 in Central. It was a great treat to us all. Being youngsters from very simple and ordinary family, we did not have the opportunity to dine out often and not to mention going to nice restaurants such as 三六九. I remember Ms. Ho ordered 清炒蝦仁 for us which is a very expensive dish even today. We were very grateful for her kindness.

Her gentle gesture and soft voice was always comforting to young souls.

Ms. Ho could dance too. She once demonstrated some Chinese opera 做手 during class and we were impressed.

I have very fond memory of Ms. Ho and I am sure that she will be missed for a very long time.

May she rest in peace.
