In memory of
Catherine Caulfield
December 23, 1950 -
September 26, 2017
Passed away on September 26, 2017 at North York General Hospital, at the age of 66. She will be deeply missed by her husband, sister, brothers, children and grandchildren. A devoted wife and loving mother, family was always her number one priority, and she always did her best to take care of everyone else, before herself. Her friendly disposition and kind heart allowed her to make friends wherever she went. Whenever anyone had a problem, she always knew what to do to make things better, a comforting stability that will be sorely missed. As an elementary school teacher, she shaped the young minds of many children over the years, teaching not just facts and figures, but morals and values, and an enthusiasm for learning. Not only was she passionate about education, but she also enjoyed reading, knitting, and gardening in her spare time. She was also the family historian, gathering old photos and genealogical records, strengthening the family tree by uncovering the deepness of its roots. Even after she had retired from a 35-year teaching career, she still remained vital, babysitting her grandkids; reading them stories and helping them with their homework. In the end, she lived a life of loyalty and dedication, making the world a better place by making the people better within it. Although she is gone, she will always live on in the hearts of her family and friends; a life lived for others is a life always remembered.
