I would like to say thank you to the family for the phone call this morning. It was a pleasure being Carol’s PSW for all those years. When I retired we lost track of each other, but did have many phone calls together. Sorry for your loss.
Love: Gail Bartlett

My sincerest condolences to all of Carol's family who meant the world to her.
Carol and Fred were friends of my family since the 1950's. My late husband Norm and I shared many good times with them when we boated in Bobcaygeon. It became evident that their offer to just drop in for a quick visit would result in a meal as Carol was always cooking and baking.
Carol and I, both working at Bell, traveled together on the subway. In retired years we frequented fish and chips in Brooklin or tried restaurants in Scarborough until she also could not drive. Since then it's been purely telephone. I miss Carol's calls.
Carol suffered a lot and is finally at peace with Fred. God bless them both. May they rest in peace together.
