Carmine passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital after a long fought battle with Alzheimer’s on Sunday morning, April 15, 2018.

Carmine was predeceased by his wife Simone Charlotta, his parents, sisters Filomena and Maria, brothers Antonio and Giuseppe.

Loving stepfather to Nancy (Tom) Pitt and Ted (Janie) Pryzmant. Proud grandfather of Michael (Jennifer) Pryzmant, Stephen (Shannon) Pitt, David (Kelly) Pitt, and Paul Pryzmant. Devoted great grandfather to his 7 great grandchildren (Matthew and Melissa Pryzmant, Madeline and Leigha Pitt and Peyton, Logan and Braelyn Pitt).

Loving brother to Francesca (Francesco Diamante), loving uncle to many nieces and nephews in Canada and Italy. He will be remembered fondly by Maureen Pryzmant, as well as many other family and friends.

We would like to thank the Credit Valley Hospital Internal Medicine doctors and nurses on 1A and the Palliative Doctor and nurses for their wonderful and compassionate care.

Visitation will be at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre – Mississauga located at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

A Chapel Service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the Simple Alternative Funeral Centre - Mississauga located at 1535 South Gateway Road, Mississauga, Ontario.

Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Mausoleum - 4570 Yonge Street, North York, ON M2N 5L6 at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate a donation being made to the Alzheimer’s Society in his memory.
