In memory of

Carmelita Pascua

May 15, 1964 -  October 2, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Carmelita (Carmen) Pascua, beloved wife of Carlos Pascua Jr. and loving mother of Carlo and Charmaine Pascua. She was also a cherished grandmother to her grandchildren, always showering them with lots of love and care.

Born and raised in Manila, Philippines, Carmen built a life filled with love, laughter, and faith. She later made her home in Toronto, where she continued to care for others with her kindness, generosity, and gentle spirit.

Carmen was known for her big, heartfelt smile and the way she made people feel welcome. She put care and passion into everything she did, from cooking and baking to her work and time spent with family. She was hardworking, brave, and selfless, and her warmth touched everyone who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to gather in her memory at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre for visitation on Thursday, October 9 from 4:00–8:00 p.m. and Friday, October 10 from 9:00–10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. and burial afterward. For those who wish to join remotely, the Funeral Mass will be live-streamed, and the link will be available on her memorial page approximately ten minutes before the mass begins.

We welcome everyone to visit her memorial page to sign the guestbook, and to share memories and photos on her Facebook that celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

Her love and laughter will stay with us always.

I am so saddened by the loss of our beloved coworker Carmelita Pascua on Oct 2,2025.

Carmen wasn't just a colleague ; she was the heart and soul of our YYZ lounges. With her quick wit and kind heart , she turned a group of coworkers into a family .
I remember my first day at the company , feeling overwhelmed and out of place . Carmen took me under her wing , showing me the ropes and introducing me to everyone . That was Carmen - always looking out for others .
She had an incredible work ethic , often being the first to arrive and the last to leave home. But she also knew how to have fun . Our lounge parties won't be the same without her famous delicious food.
Carmelita taught us that work doesn't have to be just a job ; it can be a place where you make lifelong friends and create lasting memories . We'll miss your dedication , and your ability to make even the toughest days brighter. Carmelita Thank you for being not just a great coworker.
May her memory continue to inspire us to approach our work and relationships with the same grace, decication, and warmth that she showed us every day.

Rest in peace Dear Carmen. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

I will promise you We will keep the memory of you alive by cherishing the moments we spent together and remembering your legacy will live in our hearts forever.

Love 💞

Barbara
