In memory of

Carmela Giancola

February 7, 1934 -  May 30, 2020

Heaven gained another beautiful angel. It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Carmela Giancola on May 30, 2020, at the age of 86 years. Wife of the late Antonio Giancola, along with her three children in heaven, Teresa, Nino and Susanna. Cherished mother of Domenic Giancola, (Rose Giancola) and Silvana Rosa, (Bruno Rosa). She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her five grandchildren, Jennifer,(Ivano) Jessica, Justin, (Tina), Sabrina and Marco. The joy of her life were also her two great grandchildren, Santino and Vienna who will miss their Bis Nonna immensely. She was a woman of deep faith who always loved and put her family and others before herself. She was a devoted woman with a heart of gold, who worked at Sick Children’s Hospital for 37 years. She provided love, compassion and support to children in need. She loved music and had a voice of an angel. Carmela and Antonio were a special part of Coro Itaila L’Aquila. They uplifted everyone’s spirts and came together as a community. Carmela taught everyone the most important things in life that mattered the most, which are family, love, honor, respect, kindness and strength. Her infectious smile and laughter will be missed by all. No words can express how deeply saddened we are to lose such a precious and gracious woman. God has given you your wings and now that you are reunited with your family in heaven, watch over and pray for us. We love and miss you dearly, rest in peace our sweet angel.

Your memories of Carmela and condolences for the family are most welcome and greatly appreciated.

Thank you for being a bright star in our lives. We will remember your smile, your laughter, your humorous stories, your singing, and your generous, loving spirit. God bless you, Zia.
