Born in Calabria, Italy on November 24, 1932 Carmela Gallo (nee Lascala) came to Canada and married the love of her life Rocco and together raised 5 children. A devoted wife and mother who was also an active participant in her community, she sadly passed the morning of April 4, 2020 of natural causes at St. Michael's Hospital. She was predeceased by her oldest son Antonio 37 years ago and then by her husband 19 years ago. She leaves behind a loving family of her children Cathy Philip (husband Rick), Domenic, Rita (husband John Hamilton) and Joe (wife Jessie), her granddaughter Amanda Philip, and her 2 adopted grandchildren Jonathon Gallo and Matthew Chalmers plus her nieces, nephews, 2 brothers, sisters in law and bothers in law along with friends Christa, Diana, Cass and Heather et al.

Once the threat of Covid-19 (coronavirus) has passed there will be celebration of life held for all family and friends to reminisce and share stories.
