Your life was a blessing,
Your memory a treasure.....
You are loved beyond words
And missed beyond measure
Kenny was like a father to me from an early age. I have wonderful memories with him, from even the time that he took me to an empty parking lot to teach me how to drive... That same car, just a mere two years later I would destroy in a senseless accident. But ofcourse, the type of man Kenny was... he didn't get mad, he wasn't even upset. He was more concerned about if *I* was okay.
I can't even say, in all honesty, that in all the years I've known Kenny, that I have ever seen him angry. This kind man, brautiful soul had only the purest intentions. I've never met anyone as lovely and giving as he was. This man would walk a million miles of it meant getting an 'onion' for you that you needed or desired.
Everyone that met Kenny adored him. He somehow managed to leave a lasting impression on all hearts that he touched. In the elevator of his home, there would never be a resident that wouldn't smile and say "hey Kenny! How are you my friend?"
It is with such sadness, beyond words, that could express how difficult it had been watching Kenny helplessly, but courageously put up such powerful battles with his Parkinson's that he ended up succumbing to. I am blessed for having gotten to know such an incredible person, man, and father-like figure. We don't always get to meet Angels.
May his beautiful soul rest with the other Angels in heaven. May the Holy Father give him the blue sky and keep him safe and eternally happy.
Until we meet again, our dear, sweet Kenny.
