In memory of

Byron Daniel Hollohan

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving son Byron on Sunday, March 25, 2018. He was 31 years old.

Byron graduated with a diploma from Seneca College and a certificate from Guelph University. He worked for the City of Mississauga in Parks and Forestry. He was an active member of The Meeting House Community. He participated in various sporting activities and teams. Byron connected with a lot of people during his short life.

Byron will be remembered for his ability to persist through difficult times, his passion for life, his sincerity and his sense of humour. He loved to engage people in conversation, he loved animals and he loved chocolate chip cookies.

Byron is survived by his parents Tony & Linda Hollohan and his sister Lisa and his brother-in-law Patrick Murray. He will be dearly missed.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, April 7th at 2:00pm in the auditorium of The Meeting House located at 2700 Bristol Circle in Oakville.

Byron spent time at The Hospital for Sick Children as a child. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Hospital for Sick Children in Byron's memory (Referencing SickKids, Department of Dentistry, Cleft Lip & Palate/Craniofacial Anomalies Research Fund will help the funds be directed to the area that helped him).

On behalf of myself and our members including many many former teammates, I'd like to offer our deepest condolences. Byron was a busy member of our club. He was a passionate ultimate and floor hockey player. he also played soccer, beach volleyball, and curled! We've heard from many of Byron's teammates expressing sadness at his passing. Thanks for everything you contributed Byron. We're better for knowing you.

Byron had worked with me last year at the City of Mississauga. He was a hard worker and a very responsible person. I remember talking about him getting his scuba licence. He seemed so interested in doing this for a hobby as well as cycling. We had some good discussions and laughs. He will always be remembered here at the city.
