Bryan Alexander Smith was born on March 5th, 1964 in Toronto, Ontario. After a three-year battle with cancer, Bryan passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on the morning of February 7th, 2022. Bryan was a grandad, father, son, husband, brother, uncle, and great friend to many.

Bryan started his career in carpentry at the age of 15 and from then on was rarely found without a tool in his hand. He hadn’t met a problem he couldn’t MacGyver with a roll of duct tape and his imagination. He was a lover of motorsports and classic cars. Bryan enjoyed cheering on all of his Toronto home teams, most importantly the Blue Jays. His spare time was filled with all things science fiction, fantasy and supernatural.

Bryan was at his happiest when he was up north, surrounded by friends and family. Whether he was stranded on the lake, lost in the woods, or throwin’ shoes, he had a smile on his face and was making everyone laugh.

Bryan is survived by his wife Sue, son Cary, daughter Krystin, grandsons Jackson and Benjamin, father Henry, mother Anne, sister Dianne, brother Dave, and beloved dog Harley.
