Died Sunday, May 3rd, 2015 at the age of 62, in the comforts of his home and surrounded by family. Bruno passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer.

He leaves his loving wife of 22 years, Heather Dean-Lorenz and his five cherished children Jamie, Jackie (Mike Parteno), Kelby, Bryer and Heidiand two adored grandsons Charlie and Jack. Dear brother to Peter Lorenz and Sister Rita Potter. Predeceased by his parents Emma and A. Alfred Lorenz

Born and raised in Toronto, he lived life to its fullest.

Our dad was a very unique individual who lived an authentic life. He lived a healthy lifestyle, cycling daily to Central Etobicoke High school where he was a special ED teacher. A sports fanatic, he never missed a hockey game or practice for his three sons and attended many of his daughters dance competitions. He was a true sports man, never missing an opportunity to take part in tennis, skating, basketball, skiing and many other sports. He was a natural athlete, there wasn't a sport that he wouldn't try or excel at. Our father’s favourite place in the world was Georgian Bay, Sans-Susie, where he spent his summers at the family cottage sailing, canoeing, swimming and appreciating nature at its finest. Our dad was a great philosopher of life's lessons sharing his many ideas and opinions to anyone who would listen which created many friendships along the way. He promoted a vegetarian based diet, juicing and sharing his unique varieties of dishes with the family. And in his spare time he was a handy man that anyone could rely on. Able to fix anything and everything from something as big as building docks or decks, to making his own boots and right down to removing the finest sliver from somebody's foot. He accomplished anything he would "put his mind to" as he would say, without "making pain". We laughed at him and we laughed with him, and will miss him dearly.

All are welcome to come and celebrate his life and share a Bruno story.

He left the world as he entered the world, with love and peace.
