Bruce Cockburn

June 27, 1937 -  May 15, 2018

Bruce Cockburn passed away May 15, 2018 at the age of 80 at the Toronto East General Hospital after battling lung cancer.
He will be sadly missed by his best friend and partner Pat Brown and children Suzanne (Mark), Nancy and Doug (Linda) - 12 Grand Children Gregory, Brian, David, Ian, Christopher, Jamie, Michelle, Shania, Marian, Amanda, Amber, Aaron and 6 Great Grand Children Owen, Finley, Ayla, Kaitlynn, Johnathan and Victoria and his younger brother Peter.
He retired following 33 years from Bell Canada. He was very involved with the Rover Scouts, the Amateur Radio Club, the Gloucester Pool Cottagers Assoc and a variety of other associations.
Bruce loved to travel - was an avid boater - enjoyed winters in Florida and had a passion for spending time at the cottage with his family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life May 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Pine Hills Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough.
In lieu of flowers donations can be forwarded to Canadian Lung Association and Ontario Federation for Cerebral Palsy.
