In memory of

Bron N. Sarabun

September 3, 1933 -  March 31, 2022

Bron N. Sarabun

With such extreme sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father/grandfather, Bron “Deda”, who left peacefully with family by his side on March 31, 2022. He is reunited, after many years, with our mother/Nana, his wife, the love of his life and best friend, Margaret Doris.

We, Janet (Ian), Lisa (Gus) and Bron (Alyson) say goodbye, feeling grateful, privileged and proud to have had such a kind, gentle, selfless man for our father. Forever remembered by his grandchildren Damian, Taylor, Daniel, Madyson, Brooke and Carter as their “Deda”, with love and the sound of his one-of-a-kind laughter. Joined again with his brother Gerald “Jerry” and sorely missed by his sister Olga (Ed).

“Deda” was thought of by everyone as a role model and a gentleman, asking for nothing in return, but for his family to be together. Always a smile on his face that could light up a room and genuine warmth in his heart, he touched the lives of so many people, regardless of who they were, their age or circumstance.

With a giving spirit and humble kindness, he was a dedicated catholic, active parishioner at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church and a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus.

Dad “Deda”, this world was a much better place having had you in it. You were the best husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend anybody could have ever asked for. Free from your pain, we know that you are with Mom/Nana and that both of you will continue to love us, watch over us and guide us. Forever in our hearts, we will continue to love you unconditionally and endlessly, and will miss you so very, very much.

An intimate for “immediate family “ only service will be held on Monday April 4th.

In memory of Bron, donations can be made to Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church/proceeds to help the people of the Ukraine that have been impacted by the recent events or to the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to the amazing team and community at Chartwell Hollandview Trail Retirement and of recent, the doctors, nurses, personal support partners and the priest at Southlake Regional Hospital for their compassionate care.
