In memory of

Brian Abramson

November 24, 1942 -  July 5, 2019

After a short illness, Brian passed peacefully in his sleep with family by his side at Brampton Civic Hospital.
Brian was a life-long learner and was exceptional at creating innovative solutions to problems. An avid Star Trek fan, he loved imagining what the future may bring and what technological wonders there would be for him to figure out.
Brian loved his family & friends, casino trips with his dear cousins and, of course, his work with the wonderful teams at Vidpro Canada and Duropar.
Brian was raised in Moncton, New Brunswick with his siblings and had countless adventures. In his younger days, he was always busy with his sailboat, water-skiing and working on race cars. While working at CKCW radio station in Moncton, Brian met his wife Jean. The two began their life as a married couple in 1966 and settled in Brampton, Ontario where their family grew to include their daughter.
As a father Brian was always present for school functions and volunteered countless hours to help with school fundraisers. Brian also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, son-in-law and extended family. He was sure to pass along his logical way of thinking to those around him but never forgot to have fun.
Please join us to celebrate his life and share any fond memories you have.

Always the source of a witty remark, Brian's subtle sense of humour added a pleasant tone to our frequent family get togethers. His presence at those events will be truly missed.

Dear Tara and John.

Brian was a great neighbor. He always had a kind word to say. Our parking spots were next to each other and I saw him a few times getting his rod and reel ready to go fishing with your kids, always with a big smile. I am very sorry for your loss.

Brian always had a positive attitude and was ready to give his all whenever needed. He had amazing insight and understanding and was the main reason we came so close with the Dutopar project. My greatest regret was that although we came so close, we didn’t achieve the success Brian deserved so much. Our condolences to Tara and family. We will all miss Brian so much.
