In memory of

Brenda Kathleen Utton

November 21, 1941 -  September 29, 2023

Brenda died peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 29th at Ajax-Pickering Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, William. She will be greatly missed by her children Deborah (Bill) and David (Sophie), grandchildren Courtney, Brandon (Kaitlin), and Jordan (Deanna), and great-granddaughter Poppy. Loving sister to Wendy (Michael) and sister-in-law to Gwendolyn, and aunt to Cleo (Christopher), Liza, Beau (Madison), and great-aunt to Clyde and Asa. Brenda was an avid knitter and could often be found working happily in her garden. In memory of Brenda and lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

The family would also like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of 2 North at Ajax-Pickering Hospital for their kindness and warmth when caring for Brenda.

GGB (Great Grandma Brenda) brought so much fun and happiness to our lives. We are forever grateful she was able to make such an impact in such a short amount of time with her great granddaughter, Poppy.

We miss you, and will love you always.

God bless Brenda and her family. Brenda was very welcoming when we first met. Her down-to-earth attitude and great sense of humour always made it a pleasure for us to be in her company. Brenda, we will miss you, and we will keep Bill in our prayers.
