Bonnie Joy Cushing

April 30, 1957 - June 6, 2025

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Bonnie Joy Cushing.
Bonnie passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital after a lengthy illness.

She is lovingly remembered by her loving husband Graeme, her sisters - Barb, Donna and Shirley, and her in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Bonnie also leaves behind an extended family of many dear friends.

Bonnie faced her medical challenges with bravery and always managed to have a smile for anyone who entered the room. Her thoughtfulness was felt by those around her as was her positive, no-nonsense outlook. Bonnie’s days were filled with phone calls with friends, playing with her two cats, watching her favourite TV shows, dining out, and visiting with friends and family. Bonnie loved to spend her evenings playing Yahtzee with Graeme.

Bonnie will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

A private cremation has taken place.
There will be a graveside committal service on Friday, June 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
This will be held at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, 2505 Brock Road North, Pickering, ON L1X 0K3, Tel: 905-427-3385.

Donations can be made to Micheal Garron Hospital in her honour, and in gratitude to the outstanding care she received from the Doctors and Nurses.

I am saddened about the passing of Bonnie. Bonnie will be missed by so many people, her husband Graeme in particular. Bonnie and Graeme were soulmates and I know how lovingly Graeme cared for his wife over the past few years. Rest in peace Bonnie.
