In memory of

Beverley Helen Wright

July 23, 1948 -  October 10, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Beverley (Hall) Wright on October 10, 2022. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side at her home on Lake Simcoe. Beverley (Bev) was born in Toronto and was the daughter of Murray and Helen Hall, both predeceased.

Bev wanted to be a teacher from a very young age, and she was successful at making this dream come true. She was passionate about poetry and inspiring a love for reading in her students. Bev was a teacher for the East York-Toronto District School Board for 30 years and was a generous and kind soul.

Bev married the love of her life, Brian, and had three children whom she adored. Her grandchildren were a source of joy and pride for her, so much so that she developed G&G camp (a week at the cottage with Grandpa and Grandma). They played games, swam, baked, and simply enjoyed spending time together. Bev was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She loved and was very proud of the life and family that she and her loving husband created.

She will be greatly missed by her family: devoted husband of 54 years, Brian Wright; loving mother to three children, daughters, Laura Wright (Dexter Moore), Melanie Wright (Craig Hamilton), and son, Sean Wright; proud grandmother to Rachael, Alex, Elizabeth, Ryan, Evan and Liam; loving sister to Kimberley Wilson (Fraser), Elaine Hall (Don Willmer) and sister-in-law to Ken Wright (Pat) and Carol Ferguson (Peter, predeceased); beloved Aunt to her nieces and nephews and faithful friend.

Forever in our hearts, your family.

My beautiful cousin. You will always be remembered for that great smile, your “Take Charge” personality and your kind and caring nature. You always made sure we cuzzins got together for the annual reunion - one way or another. Always full of fun ideas!
One of my best memories was meeting up with you and Brian in Siesta Key - such a lovely place you loved so much.
You will be SO missed dear cuz. But your spirit will live on and we will keep hosting those reunions…
Love Barb, Josh, Ryan, Brandon & Ashley xoxo
