In memory of

Bettylou Ramasir

April 2, 1948 -  November 4, 2021

It is with the heaviest of hearts, that we share the sudden passing of our beloved Bettylou Ramasir on Thursday November 4, 2021.

Bettylou will be lovingly remembered and perpetually loved by her husband of 54 years and her children and beloved grandchildren.

Bettylou was born in Quarry Village, Trinidad on April 2, 1948. She immigrated to Canada in 1995 to settle in Brampton, Ontario, but frequently returned to her home in Bonne Aventure, Trinidad. She also routinely travelled to her third home in Jackson, Tennessee, USA.

Bettylou was a dedicated mother who devoted her entire life to support her children and grandchildren in their accomplishments and careers. She was a steadfast believer that dedication, perseverance and self-belief can overcome any obstacle.

She was ardently involved with her extended family, the church and her community. She was welcoming, caring, insightful, loving and always took care of others ahead of herself.

Bettylou was a wonderful cook. In Trinidad she was well known for her "Tanty Betty" Pholourie and was a participant representing Trinidad & Tobago in the Tennessee food festival.

Bettylou was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to any charity which provides food, clean water, or enhances the education for disadvantaged children.
