In memory of

Betty Evans

December 24, 1926 -  July 6, 2022

Betty Marie Evans (nee Hawley) of Toronto passed away in hospital after a short illness, on July 6_22 at the age of 96.
Betty was the matriarch of our family and leaves behind, with wonderful memories, daughters Judy, Linda, Sharon - grandchildren Jim, Darryl, Graham, Jennifer, Lisa-Marie, Mark and Kim and great grand children Madison, Wyatt, Elise, Sinclair and Emerson.
Aunt to Marilyn, Cynthia, Beverley and the late Bryan and Steven.
Enjoying a full life that included work and her pets and her loved hobbies of gardening, cooking, and travel. Betty made many friends over the years and became proficient in bridge and curling and rug hooking, but family gatherings with her beloved grandchildren were what made her smile the most.
She inspired us all with her wisdom and wit and support and guidance. We are remembering her and we miss her much.

Goodbye to an wonderful strong woman and a warm and beautiful Mother.

Betty was a very generous, loving aunt to me ,my sister Cynthia and my brother Bryan. She always showed an interest in our families by keeping in touch with us.I enjoyed her conversations and her ready laugh. She inspired me to grow older as gracefully as she did, by staying active, physically and mentally. I will miss her.
May her soul rest in peace.
