In memory of

Bernard Kutzner

April 8, 1939 -  April 25, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Bernard Kutzner. Bernard was born in Poland and passed away on April 25, 2021 in his 82nd year at the Mississauga Trillium Hospital.

Beloved husband of wife Helena (née Wos) of over 59 years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Richard (Barbara) Kutzner, Renata (Andrzej) Miasik and Diane (Ivan) Kastelan. He was dearly loved and Dziadzia will be greatly missed by his grandchildren Nicole, Adrian, Myiah, Emily, Ivan Jr. and Kayla and his loyal canine companion, Porscha, as well as extended family and friends. His devotion to family and friends will be greatly missed.

Bernard retired from de Havilland Aircraft/Bombardier after 37 years of service. Bernard was passionate about his Muskoka cottage, fishing, handyman jobs and painting projects, not to mention his great story telling or having a joke for every occasion. He was a very hard working man with a never ending commitment to help family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada in honour of Bernard would be appreciated by the family.

Thank you to everyone for the outpouring of love and condolences the family has received. Current COVID-19 restrictions limit the opportunity to gather and celebrate Bernard’s life, however a Celebration of Life Memorial will be held in the future. A private family mass service will be held at St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic Church followed by a private interment at the Park Lawn Mausoleum on Wednesday, April 28, 2021.

A virtual link will be available for those wishing to attend the Visitation online on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 2pm. The link will appear at approximately 1:55pm at the top of the Memorial Page.

To view the mass service online on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 10am, please visit: https://stteresaset.archtoronto.org/ and click the "Watch Now!" link.

The family would be grateful for you to take the time to sign the online guest book, share a photo or memory, and browse the Photo Gallery (using the Photos link above). The guestbook can be found at the top of the Memorial Page.

May his memory be eternal.
Wieczny odpoczynek racz Mu dać Panie.

Uncle Bernard as I will remember him always had a great story for you! He joked around with us as kids and always made us feel so welcome in his home with Aunty Helen. I was sad to hear of his passing. He leaves a wonderful legacy of children and grandchildren. Please know that my family and I are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

To a Father that always loved the outdoors and always included me, fishing, hunting, atving, was a blissful and memorable time that I will always cherish.

Rest in piece Dad, you will always shine on my journeys in life.

Love always, your Son, Rick…..

A true friend is never truly gone. Their spirit lives on in the memories of those who loved them. May you be as blessed in the next life, my friend, as I was in this one by knowing you. Goodbye my friend, until we meet again.
