November 9, 1936 -  April 19, 2021

Bela Pista, 84, passed away Monday April 19, 2021, peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa Hospital.

Born in Hungary to Veronica and Janos Pal.
He lived a full life with stays in Hungary, Austria, Australia, and Canada.

He was extremely proud of his employment at Metropolitan Toronto as an Industrial Mechanic/Millwright.

He enjoyed meeting with friends at the Hungarian House to play cards, billiards and of course watching football (soccer) whenever he could.

He is survived by his wife, Terez; daughter Christina (Adam); daughter-in-law Nora; and sister-in-law Marika.

Proud grandfather to Natalie, Genevieve, Michael, Jonathan, Tyler; and great-grandfather to Baileigh.

He was predeceased by his parents Veronika and Jonas Pal; his brother Paul (Ocsi); and his son Peter.

Bela will be missed and fondly remembered by many friends and extended family both in Canada and abroad.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service for invited family will be held on Wednesday, April 28th. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
