In memory of

Barbara Oakley

October 25, 1964 -  January 12, 2023

It’s with sadness we must part and say goodbye to Barbara Oakley.

Our beloved mother passed away on January 12, 2023, peacefully at Sunnybrook hospital, in Toronto.
Predeceased by her mom, Maria Puzio.

Barbara Puzio Oakley, 58 of Toronto, Ontario was born in Poland on October 25,
1964. She left Poland when she was five to come to Canada for a better life with her Mom. She went to high school at Overlea High School until 1982. She then went to dental college where she became a Dental Assistant.

Barbara loved to decorate, read magazines and enjoyed cooking food for everyone while looking stylish doing it. Her cooking was unmatched. Her humour and contagious energy made her light up any room. She was an amazing wife, mother and friend.

Barbara will be dearly missed by her daughter Shaunalee Oakley, son Mitchell Oakley, Shaunalee’s significant other Daniel Stubbs. Her grandson Ryder Stubbs with a granddaughter on the way in April. Her significant other Andy Sibthorpe and her former husband John-Paul Oakley.

May you rest in peace beautiful.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date in the spring.

I am so sorry that you were taken so early in years Barb. You adored your kids and were so happy and proud to be a Grandmother! You were an amazing cook and always had an eye for fashion and decor. We had many nice times at hockey and on Rainy Day.

I know you are with your much loved Mother now. May you now rest with her in eternal peace and watch down on Shaunalee and Mitchell.
