Belena Barbara (Collins) Migliore was the daughter of Belena Gosse and John Frederick Collins. Her siblings include Clyde (deceased), David, Gloria, Marie, Ida, and half-siblings Dorris, Bob (deceased), and Don (deceased). On Saturday, August 13, 2016, at 2:04pm, Barbara died peacefully, surrounded by family, after a six-month battle with cancer. Barbara was the loving wife of Lorenzo Migliore, and a dedicated mother of Kirk, Caterina, and Lorenzino.

Barbara will be remembered for her kind and gentle soul, her quiet humour, and selfless nature. We hope that she has found peace in rest, and are grateful for having her be a part of our lives; we are better people for knowing her.

Instead of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to either of the following organizations:

- John Madott Scholarship Foundation (for the Arts)

- The Kids Eat Smart Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador (this foundation will send support to the Bishop White All Grade School, which is where Barbara attended school in her younger years.
