In memory of

Aymeric Jason Hobbs

April 19, 1973 -  May 1, 2019

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Aymeric Jason Hobbs on May 1, 2019, at age 46. Survived by his parents, Camille and Stuart Hobbs, his aunts and uncle Patricia Hobbs and Marie-Claude and Ivano Chiaretto,Giulia Chiaretto and baby Sean and his many co-workers and friends. Aymeric was predeceased by his paternal and maternal grandparents, Peter and Elma Hobbs and Paul and Olga Marty.
From an early age, Aymeric devoted his life to working with computers. More recently, he had started learning to play the guitar, and like everything he did, he spent his leisure time mastering this new interest.

Still processing the loss of this good man and friend with whom I shared lunches and many a drink over the past 15+ years, and who was always there to lend a helping hand with his encyclopedic knowledge of computers and photography; entertain with his personal stories of antics in the Boy Scouts, at Jarvis Collegiate, and while working for Panalpina and the Canadian Armed Forces; or to have the occasional debate about religion and philosophy. He even kindly came over to my home one very hot summer afternoon to help me put up a shed in my backyard. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and to all those who like myself will miss his comradeship and humour. Rest in Peace, my friend.

My sincere condolences to Aymeric's parents and extended family. We worked together for many years, and had kept in touch. We spoke about guitars not that long ago. Aymeric was an enlightening, intelligent, and gentle soul.
