With sadness the family of Austin Douglas Dobson announces his passing at the age of 96 in London, Ontario on Saturday, May 13. He is predeceased by his wife, Ruth (Smalley), his parents, William Charles Thomas and Harriet Marie Dobson, and his siblings:William (Rita), Margaret( Alf Phillips), Edmund (Mary), Frank(Sally), Marion (Art Horn), and Betty (John Reid).

Doug's passing marks the end of a generation. He is remembered with love by his many nieces and nephews and their families.

Doug was a quiet, creative and practical man who enjoyed acrylic and water colour painting, woodwork, building projects and repair work. His life with Ruth was one of deep contentment and his greatest loss. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, May 20 in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Toronto after a simple graveside service.
