After a 2 and half year battle with cancer Aung-win (Kao) passed away peacefully on Thursday June 2nd 2022 at the Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital. At his passing he was surrounded by his loving family, Wife (Mai-ing Lau), Son (Adrian Chao), Daughter (Alexandra Chao-Lau). He was a proud and devoted husband, father, brother, brother in-law, uncle, friend, and neighbor. His kindness and loving heart will be missed by all that had the chance to meet him. His last words were to be strong, be kind to all, and always laugh. Continue to show kindness to all that you meet and always lend out a helping hand to those who may need it as he did for others. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday June 11th, 2022 at Simple Alternative Funeral Centers, 1057 Brock Rd, Pickering, ON L1W 3t&. Visitation from 8:30 – 10:00am with service to follow at 10am. Burial service will follow after the Memorial service on Saturday June 11th, 2022 at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, 2505 Brock Rd. N, Pickering, ON L1X 0K3. For those unable to attend the funeral service there will be a zoom link provided by the funeral center so that you can attend virtually.
