Audrey died peacefully on June 25th, 2024, in her 92nd year at Wellbrook Place East in Mississauga.

Audrey was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, and left behind her beloved parents Thomas and Minnie Smith and older brother Tommy to start a new life in Canada in 1956. Audrey was the beloved Nanny to Jamie, Kimberley, Andrew, David, Sean, Tricia, Keenan, Stephanie, Lauren and Taylor. She was blessed with 14 great-grandchildren, as well as 1 great-great-grandchild.

Audrey will be remembered for her generosity, quick wit, sunny smile and strong, stoic reserve as she faced many medical adversities.

Our Angel of the North, you will be greatly missed...

A private family celebration of life will be held at Meadowvale Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton on Friday, July 5, 2024.

To the Taylor Family,
I got to know this beautiful lady through her son and daughter in law. I had the privilege to know her for at least 24 years. Audrey was a beautiful, kind lady who loved to laugh, enjoy her tv shows and share a meal with a glass of wine with her dear family and friends. She was a lover of people, and four legged friends. I had the opportunity to spend 10 days with her once when Louise and Dean went to England and I truly enjoyed her company. Her laughter was contagious. I will miss her on my visits to see my friends. RIP sweet Audrey. Hugs to the family.

I have been definitely blessed to have known another Audrey that was so beautiful inside and out. From the moment I met you, you made me and children a part of the Taylor family. You became our Nanny as well. Enjoy the eternal party in Heaven! We love you and will miss you greatly from here in Winnipeg. Love forever Audrey, Felix and Zaita
