Passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Hillsdale Estates 3 days before his 106th birthday. Much loved son of John and Alberta. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Mary. Loving father of Richard (Helga), Carol Anne (William) and the late Douglas (Shirley). Proud grandfather of Laura (Francois), Steven (Cindy), Scott (Sophie), Shelley Anne (Robert), Elizabeth (Sonny), Darcy (Suzanne) and Tara. Cherished Great grandfather of Ella, Lille, Felix, Xavier, Sarha, Dustin and Alyssa. Predeceased by 6 brothers and 3 sisters. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by his many other family members and friends.

Uncle Curly was a delightful person and a really great uncle. I have such wonderful memories of family times with the whole Broadbent clan growing up. Uncle Curly had a wonderful life and a great attitude. Our thoughts and sympathy go out to “the cousins” and their families.
