Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Astra Valija Boss was born on August 5, 1924 in Renceni, Latvia, and passed away peacefully on August 14, 2017 at nursing home in Woodbridge .
She is survived by her daughter Ingrid Dinaro (Nunzio); her two grandsons Gints Bruveris (Jessica) and Erik Bruveris (Kristjana); her two step grandchildren, Joseph Dinaro and Elaina Colwell (George); and her six great grandchildren Jackson, Amelia, Olivia, Georgia, Alex and Hadley.
The family is especially grateful to the Palliative Care Team at Etobicoke General Hospital as well as the kind and loving staff at Kristus Darzs Nursing Home.
To all who knew her, her greatest love was her family. She will be remembered as loving, caring, warm and friendly to those whom she met. We all enjoyed her smiles, warmth and kindness of heart. Your wings were ready Mom, but our hearts were not. We will miss you.

Every time I saw Astra Boss she greeted me with a warm hug and a kiss. She was a welcoming and lovely lady who always enjoyed a good conversation and will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her daughter, Ingrid, and her family.
