Arthur James Webb

On Sunday September 23, 2018, Art peacefully passed at Sunnybrook Veteran’s Wing in his 97th year. He was a retired District Chief for the City of Toronto Fire Department with 38 years of service. During WWII, he served in the Royal Canadian Air Force with 435 Burma Squadron.

Predeceased by beloved wife, Norma (42 years), son, Donald, and companion, Margaret.
Remembered as a loving father to Barbara (Brian) and father-in-law to Carrie. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Robert (Holly) and Cheryl (Ryan); and the most recent joys of his life, his great-grandchildren, Chloe, Taylor and Jackson.

The family thanks the staff at Sunnybrook Veterans wing for all the care and support they provided.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Odette Cancer Centre or charity of your choice.

Very sorry to hear that Mr. Webb, my next door neighbour when I was a kid, has passed away.
I still vision him whistling away as he puttered around the house.
Doug still has the Blue Jay chair that he had made many years ago.
Unfortunately another one from a wonderful generation is gone.

Sincerely Michele and Doug
