Arqile Rushi

June 11, 1941 - March 17, 2021

In loving memory of Arqile Rushi who passed away suddenly on March 17, 2021 at the age of 79. Arqile was born on June 11, 1941 in Erseke, Albania to Thomaidha and Vasil Rushi. Beloved husband to Eleni, father to Oriada and Kostanca, grandfather to Vangjush, Iren, Arkel, Robert. He will be dearly missed by all his friends and family.

Arqile was the eldest of 8 children and assumed the responsibility to care for and raise his brothers and sisters. Arqile was a hard working person, he began work as a mechanic at the age of 14 and continued that profession for 47 years. He was very talented at his craft and highly respected by many. He is remembered most for his kind soul, joy and love that he showed unconditionally to everyone around him regardless of who they were.

Arqile moved to Canada on September 2020 to be close to his daughters and grandchildren. Sadly, it was only a short amount of time afterwards that he passed away. He brought joy to our hearts with his uplifting spirit, humor, kindness and will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. A soul like his is rare to come by and will be forever remembered.

Me kete buzeqeshje do ta kujtoje perhere,me shakate e tij qe na bente per te qeshur,me ate miresine e shpirtin e bardhe qe kishte... Nje dhimbje e madhe,i pa zevendesueshem...Isha krenar per ate dhe mu bente zemra mal kur me thonin qe i ngjaja.Per mu nuk ishe vetem daja im, ishte shok dhe baba. Ne te gjitha bisedat qe benim bashke gjithmone me jepje kurajo per cdo gje..Nuk kam fjale per ta pershkruar...Do mbetet nje kujtim i bukur dhe i pa harruar gjithe jeten time! U prefsh ne paqe 🕊 🕯

We mourn the passing of our loved one but celebrate the precious moments of joy that he brought into all of our lives. We still remember the stories that he would tell and the lessons he would hide in each of them. Although he married into the family through Eli, he acted as the bigger brother full of wisdom and laughter to guide us through any difficult times.

We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and will cherish every bit of time we spent with him.

We miss him immensely and will remember him always.
