Passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital on June 11, 2019, surrounded by her loving family after a valiant battle with cancer. Loving wife of Edwin for 39 years and cherished mom of Edward (Maulyn), Timothy and Michael. Adored grandma of Zyana and loving daughter of the late Melba and Carlos Rodriguez. Arabelle is survived by her sister Arlene and she was a sister in law of the late Cesarito. Arabelle will be forever remembered for her dedication to her family, her generosity and beautiful smile. She was a” ray of sunshine” who brought joy to all who were graced by her presence. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the doctors and nurses from Princess Margaret and Toronto General Hospital for their care, compassion and professionalism shown to Arabelle and her family. A celebration of Arabelle’s life will take place on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 12 pm- 3 pm at THORNTON CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, (South of Taunton Road and off of Dryden Blvd, 905-579-6787). I will miss Ahbey.

We grew up together, from the 60s till 1975 when we had to move house. We used to play all sorts of games. She was a very good volleyball player! When we were kids, she was my co-fan with Nora Aunor while Arlene and Joyce were Vilma Santos fans! Love you Ahbey. Say hello to my mom.

Dear Arlene, Edwin, the boys and to the rest of the family,

Losing someone you love and so soon is unimaginable. I pray that you may find comfort on the laughter, love, good memories that she has left behind, knowing that she is reunited with Tito Tos, Tita Melba & Arnel and no longer have to suffer or feel any pain. She was ready to go and be in the presence of God.
