In memory of

Anthony Roger Taylor

March 31, 1943 -  November 22, 2025

With great sadness, the family announces the passing of Anthony “Roger” Roger Taylor on November 22, 2025. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a proud father and grandfather, and a loyal friend to many.

Roger was born on March 31, 1943, in St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, just north of London. After spending his early years in the United Kingdom, he moved with his family to Toronto in the years following the Second World War, beginning a new chapter in a country he would come to love and call home.

From a young age, Roger developed a deep passion for sports, especially hockey, football, golf, and baseball. His talent and dedication to hockey led him to attend Michigan Tech University on a hockey scholarship, where he not only competed at a high level but also embraced campus life at a school with a proud hockey tradition.

While at Michigan Tech, Roger earned his degree in engineering, setting the foundation for a successful career that spanned more than 40 years in the field. Known for his work ethic, problem-solving mind, and integrity, he was respected by colleagues and clients alike and took great pride in the projects and teams he contributed to over the decades.

Roger is survived by his beloved wife, Beverley Taylor (Smith), his son Scott Taylor, daughter-in-law Katherin, and his grandchildren Will, Andy, and Caroline.

Dear BEV It has been a shock, as we got the news today (Jan. 31) from Bob C.
DEAR ROGER was such a nice human being, such a hard worker and dedicated.

We were surprised that you were not that the Christmas party this year and had no idea what had happened. A very hard time for you and your son and family.
Please know we are thinking of you and we share in your sorrow and loss.
BEV do call me! We were always supposed to meet up.
Such a delicate fine line we live on, that is for sure. Warmly, Marjut and Tap
